Have you had any mechanical problems with your Nissan?
I am driving a 2003 Dodge Stratus with 121,000 miles. I don't mind driving an old car at all. But I have had lots of problems with it. We put in a rebuilt transmission a year ago. It started leaking recently so I had to take it back in to the guys that installed it. They finally fixed it but I was without a car of and on for three weeks. I had to rent a car to go on a trip.
I'm thinking of buying a new to me car soon, and I'm not sure what brand to buy.
    Thanks

*knock on wood* we have not had any major problems. Routine stuff like brakes, belts/hoses, fluid/filter changes and tires. The A/C needs a new compressor, but I've lived without it for like 5 years now. It has needed O2 sensors replaced a few times and has two that need to be replaced now. This is really more of an issue if you live in a state with smog requirements.

One of my mom's cars is a Mitsubishi with 330K miles.

I guess this leads to a little bit of hope for the auto industry... it has seemed to me that fewer and fewer cars last this long, but if you take good care of it there will be a bit better insurance that it could happen.

I hope to own my minivan that long! I've got another 150K to go. Wink
